One thing added to David Doyle's fine post. Please take into
consideration that all of this was designed to be used in a time before
the lubricants were taken out of all fuels and it will be harder on the
engine now to use the more refined fuels such as gasoline. Other than
causing a more wear on the engine, burning the fire rings, or over
heating it can cause the input shaft to the injector pump to snap
leaving you walking.
