Made another trip South to the old surplus dealer.. Scavenged a bunch of
nice small stuff for the "restorer"... Included are the proper 5/16"
course ..round headed - screw driver slot bolts for many applications on
the MB and GPW. This is all original GI from the 40's.... Some things are
from the 50's...but still correct for the period.
The spring retainers are GPW and MB..some are "F" marked. The exhaust pipe
hangers are for the MB and GPW...all new and greasy. The GM marked
thermostats are real nice..! The wire hose clamps are 1 1/4" and 1 1/8"....
There are also screws - the right ones - for the footmen loops on the GPW
and MB..and screws for the reflectors...Great stuff for that finishing touch
!!
