Hi list,

Many thanks to the fellows already responding to me about ambulance parts.
This is kind of a group message to those of you who are interested in taking
advantage of this opportunity.

I have not spent much time (yet) assessing what I should be asking for each
and every part (been way too busy for that with the sick baby and all) but I
wanted to get the word out to the list first before putting an ad in MV Mag
and Supply Line. I will negotiate with you fellas on price or I may accept
your reasonable offer outright.

Other parts on hand: Original radiator boiled out, rodded, repaired, painted
and ready for service. A set of never installed headlight buckets and
rings. These are beautiful, faithful reproductions. One set of larger,
take-off teardrop headlight buckets and rings requiring a thorough cleanup.
These oddballs seem to appear on a lot of WC54's but I have no evidence that
they are originals. Take-off fenders, inner fenders, headliners (two sets!)
doors, hood, grille-guard with radiator cover, running boards, interior
locker boxes with some locker doors and leaf springs with shackles.
Take-off axle "u" bolts. Spring saddles have all been sandblasted and
primed with some in paint already. Axle tubes and differential covers front
and rear that have been sandblasted, primed and painted. Both differentials
have not yet been cleaned or serviced. Front axle shafts, steering knuckle
assy's, front spindles, control arm, and drag link all cleaned to base
metal, rust free and ready for paint and reassembly. Four hubs sandblasted
and primed, ready to receive the old bearings and bearing races (which are
still in good shape) or your new bearing assy's. Take-off brake drums.
Renewed front brake backing plates, sandblasted, primed and painted and
brake shoes sandblasted and in primer with marginal linings. Take-off
pitman arm and steering column/steering gear and a marginal steering wheel.
Set of take-off litter racks (need of new leather), fuel tank, T214 engine,
transmission, drive shafts etc etc etc.

WC54 Ambulance owners, this is a golden opportunity to obtain a lot of
back-up parts to fall back on should you need them.

Let me know.
