Emmett and listers,
I have a friend that was a Marine in Vietnam, he claims they had
one/or some that were diesel. Like you're contact, this guy is a very honest
and technicial guy(gun smith). If he claims something, I'd believe him.
I've know him for years and have never known him to be wrong before.
That's all I know about diesel mules, but would like to know more
them. The cooling units in refer trailers are powered by Onan diesels. So is
much airfield equip.,like engine heaters, It would be a neat project, and a
heck of a ORV. I don't know any more about the military adapting diesels to
mules, or know of it being done. I'd love to at least see one, if I can't
have one.
