U6TL battery question

I know that many MVs use the U6TL battery and I was wondering if there was a gel-cell version.

I have a '66 Unimog radio truck which uses 2 of these big U6TL 100 amp-hr batteries in the radiobox. The batteries that are used in the trucks in Germany are gel-cell but I am unable to find replacement ones here. So far, all I've found are the wet-cell variety at the local Interstate battery distributor. Can anyone help?
