Years ago (20+), at a non-governmental auction, I saw someone take the sensor
head from a piece of equipment and hide it in another lot very early in the
inspection period. I didn't think this was quite fair, so I took the head and
moved into a completely different lot, in another room, and then sat back and
watched the original bidder go nuts when his plan went wrong.
I think justice was served.
