Yes, that's a very good point. The way you do this is by spraying while
someone else is cranking hte engine, or while it is already running. DO NOT
load it up and then try to start it. If the engine fires up, you won't like
the very fast rpms while there is no oil in the top end.

i have used wd40 on gas engines too
butt you have to spay wile its turning over
