hi list

was working on the M104 today could not get what i wanted to done due to
crappy weather ....RAIN . so i took the tailgate off and dragged it in
the garage to start stripping the paint off . as i was stripping the
paint a layer at a time and i noticed
a couple of things first it had five paint jobs that required
restenciling .second only the first markings were painted on, all other
markings were vinyl letters.
third this trailer changed units at least three times through its life.
i think this was the bastard step child of the armored div.
anyway i have a couple of questions for the guru's out there .
did equipment change hands often?
and where was this trailer originally based?
here's the first unit markings 11 AC 710 triangle (armored) M 8
i have already decided to remark this with one of it's original
markings i am leaning towards the latest markings due to the fact that i
am painting the trailer "383" carc green.
i have posted some more pictures in my photo point album for all who are
interested.
