Aussie Army APC crash

It just came on the TV news that one of our APC's (M113A1) threw a
track at speed (which appears to be Diehl brand, not the original US
pattern) and crashed into a tree. The track was broken not thrown whole.
The tree has a big chunk out of it, but won and ripped off the final
drive on one side!
1 soldier medivaced in serious condition and lots of head, chest and
leg injuries to the remainder.
It appeared from an interior shot that
the driver's seat mount either collapsed, was pushed over by someone
being thrown against it or was bent in the rescue effort, whatever,
that would take a fair amount of force as they are quite solid.

Providing of course that you can believe anything you see on TV.

Anyone on this list had any experience with Diehl track on 113's?
