Apparently e-bay defaults to 'will ship to USA only' unless you
specifically tell it to go international.
I've had good luck just e-mailling sellers and asking for permission to
put in a bid, but sometimes the text says something like 'no international
bidders please' which is quite clear to me. It also helps to point out
that the average MV bauble sells for approximately twice the price on an
international auction as it does for a 'USA only'
