There were two articles about M54 gun trucks in Military Vehicles Magazine
last year. It was actually a two part article with lots of pictures,
history, and how to. Can't remember what months, but it whould be easy to
find.

Subject: [MV] M-54 Convoy Gun Trucks

I have a friend who is interested in building up an M-54 convoy escort truck
and is researching all manner of stuff. One question he asked was if
anybody in the U.S. has done this already and I did not know.

So, does anybody know of such a project or any reasons why a person would
not want to take on this challenge? We are aware that they are big, heavy
and suck gas like you own your own well, but beyond that.......

Thanks for any input.
