Hi All,
I am given to believe that the practice of applying registration numbers to
American military vehicles and equipment was discontinued in 1975, shortly
after the end of the Vietnam debacle. At the same time, cammo schematics
were introduced.
National Symbol decals were also discontinued at that time methinks???
Does anyone have definitive information regarding this change?
Had the plan been en train for some time, or was it a deliberate step
toward the renewal of morale immediately post-Vietnam?
