I drive a tri-axle dump truck for a large paving company here in NH and
Diesel Fuel is the only liquid that will take it off easily. Stop at you
local True Value store and buy the RED spray bottle which is what I use to
wet down the tailgate before dumping a load <23 tons!> in the paver and a
few strokes of the scraper after I am empty and I'm on the way for another
load. Ordinary Diesel fuel or number 2 home heating fuel will do the job.
Spray on and wait a minute and spray again and watch it run. From what your
describing it will take a few applications. Best of luck.
