Sharp turns will almost certainly cause the tires to turn the opposite
direction and lock up. The trick to towing is positive caster. If for one
reason or another there isn't positive caster, then it wont go straight.
Another item of help, with air shift trucks, is to remove the front drive
flanges or with the sprag, the front driveshaft. This alone can help most
trucks.....kenny
