It's not mine, but a friend of mine has a 1919 Commerce (that's the name of
the company) Truck that was procured for and used by the army. After WWI or
there abouts it was used by the Milwaukee WI post office and he has pictures
of the same truck in use that way. Then it went to the CCC stuff in the
northern part of the state. After that it was sold to civilians for logging.
There is only one other that we have ever found and that is in a truck
museum in Iowa, north of Waterloo, is it Mason perhaps? not sure.

This thing has a 4 cylinder Continental engine with a small tranny and
somewhat conventional rear end other than the combination internal and
external band brakes.

The postal historical society is on him to restore it back to that state and
I am on him to take it back to it's original MV state, stay tuned to see who
wins.
