Ken,

The Army has & had many bases that were Camps in the 50s & 60s. Forts
in the 60s & 70s. Now camps again for a few.

Camp Pickett VA in 50s I believe was upgraded later.

Camp Drum NY (Pine Camp) was then upgraded to Fort Drum & the Mountain
Division was stationed there full time.

I am sure there are many more.
