The Henry J was a small post war car by Kaiser. sort of cute. They had the
same engine as the Jeep. I worked for a repair shop in the mid 60's and I
seem to remember that the engines were prone to crack valve seats also. I
do remember the boss always looked for a GPW block as the Ford engines
supposedly had a better alloy in the block and they'd hold a set of rings
better.----- Original Message -----
