I have a manual that I got with the jeep, TM9-804, The CD is on its way,
should be in Mon or Tues.
The manual I have seem to have no rebuild info.
Thanks for the info on plugs, I can do that today.
Working on brakes today, I suspect the wheel cylinders are shot.
BTW, On the M38 what happens if the Master cylinder vent is removed?
Mine is, will is cause problems similar to an M35A2?

To bad but the only way I can do this doesn't pick up the illustrations
which are useful. The pump is rebuildable, don't know about the
availibility of good parts though. Never heard of the jam nut.
I have always used Champion J8 plugs in mine. I'm assuming you're talking
about the spark plugs.
Plain ol DOT 3 brake fluid works fine.
All the jeep manuals are available on a cd for about 30 bucks, good
investment if you're gonna play with one of these. Not that plain old
fashioned 50's style back yard machanicing doesn't work well with the old
jeeps.
