M35A2C the Injection pump menace

Well, the pump is in, All tubes are hooked in EXCEPT the one that feeds
the pump from the primary fuel filter. The rubber hose that connects the
pump to the fuel line has a flare fitting on one end that cannot be
matched to any fitting found in any of the following:Ace Hardware or
Home Depot. In additon the fittng is a 45 degree not a 90 this is for a
good reason, the hose is just long enough to connect to a 45 but not a
90. I am planning on building my own using more compatible fittings. I
have also discovered that injector tubes, bent in perverted angles by
Army mechanics bent on making a removal easy not by the book when
robbing parts off of a DRMO truck, do respond favorably to profanity.
All in all, I got a lot done today but not as much as I had planned, the
Radiator is back in and filled, the fuel filters are back on, I even got
a broken airline that I discovered today repaired. So not much longer
and I should have a running M35A2C. After being coverd in grease oil and
grime for 2 days straight I am taking tomorrow off to rest a bit, doing
all of this stuff with no help outside in the hot Kansas sun has been
kind of tiring oh well, anything for the cause.
