The M1008 is your basic CUCV, the M1028 is equipped with a
100 amp. / 28 volt electrical system and appears to come with the
S-250 shelter / communications kit.
The M1008A1 comes with the 100 amp. upgrade and commo kit.
The M1028A1 comes with a different transfer case for using
a power take off.
What comes in the commo kit , I don't know. Perhaps, just
electrical cables and connectors for the shelter ?
