i can't keep quiet on this any longer.

Naglich Enterprises add lists them as ARL8S "fits" in M38, M37, M151,
M715,
  2 1/2 and 5 ton

ARL8S NSN 2920-00-816-7682
USED IN: GENERATOR SET EG2 FROM KECO INDUSTRIES, REEFER UNIT QL9M1 FROM
THERMOKING.
NOT AT ALL CORRECT FOR JEEPS OR TRUCKS

CAN BE SUBSTITUTED FOR 2920-00-569-8964
USED IN: GENERATOR SET EG2 FROM KECO INDUSTRIES, REEFER UNIT QL9M1 FROM
THERMOKING.
NOT AT ALL CORRECT FOR JEEPS OR TRUCKS

THESE HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE +- 1992 OR 3, CAME FROM DRMO COLUMBUS (VERY
LARGE QUANTITY +-10,000EA) AND HAVE
CHANGED HANDS SEVERAL TIMES.

I PROBABLY CAN'T SAY IT LOUD ENOUGH BUT "IT'S YOUR FUNERAL IF YOU USE
THEM!"

other sure way to tell they are not correct is that if they were correct
the majority of the vehicle parts dealers would be selling them.
it makes me crazy some days to see the wrong parts knowingly flogged
off on people with no complaints, and then watch the storm that erupted
when Dave
Pizzoferrato (WEEBEE WEBBING) had the nerve to defend himself against an
incorrect statement.
luckily i'm on my way to a proper military vehicle show (BELTRING) for
some much needed r&r with the 99% of the collectors who are just plain
good people.
hope to see more US list members over there!

civilian
plugs that "FIT" the above motors.

yes there are

Too bad the U.S. Gov't never figured that out.

they always knew.

  I think I'll stick with
the plugs called for in the manuals. ( wish I still had the
manuals...)

the only way to go, save lots of headaches later.
