          Welcome to the Mule Club!!!!!!!! Randy and ET are right. The last
one I had do this filled the crankcase so full that the engine wouldn't turn
over. Usually the failure of the fuel pump is total as in our case. I did
recently see one pump that had would not allow the engine to run without the
choke was pulled out. We replaced the mag., carb., governor, with no luck.
When we replaced the fuel pump, every thing back to normal. Runs great,
nothing wrong with all that other stuff.
Rule of thumb -- Never rebuilt or wake a sleeping mule engine without a new
fuel pump. Or a good rebuilt one. Will save you a lot of problems in the
future.
