Speaking of rifle racks, I got one of those kits for the M35 and installed
it this spring. Then while driving back to work from lunch at the sub shop
one day and trying to shift, steer, and hold a soda at the same time, I
looked over at that gun mount and got an idea. I got a piece of 3" PVC and
a 3" to 2" adapter and a piece of 2" PVC and a 2" cap and glued it all
together. The 2" part fits into the gun rack just as the rifles hand guards
do and the 3" part stickes up giving you a convenient place to put your
favorite beverage be it can, plastic bottle or cup. Happy cruising !!

I agree, but can you direct me to a source for olive-drab PVC fittings?
