Early October is also the time the Mid-Western Re-enactor organizations
hold their "National" events.
I will be attending the HRS National again this year the 1st weekend of
October at Ft. McCoy WIsconsin.
I'll look up the other org (20th CTSG) if your interested, Theirs is
usually 2 weeks before, and in Indiana, I believe.
Probably not on a scale wiht others (ie Ft . Indiantown Gap), but
usually 200-400 "combatants" & Numerous vehicles. Hetzer, Stuart,
redone OT-810's, US halftracks, M/C's w / sidecars, lots of jeeps, &
trucks. Some field pieces. Hopefully we'll have the '38 Stoehr command
car there.
