I belong to the list but am not able to post from where I am and the
computer I am using. Would you be kind enough to make the following post
for me? It will be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

David

Subject: M37B1 for sale due to illness.

This post is being made at the request of David from The Enterprise Bed &
Breakfast.

Hi listers;

6 months ago I had a quad bypass and today I'm in the hospital for a redo
(bummer). As you may know from my past posts, I have a 1965 M37B1 from the
USMC. I now know I need to sell it and so the first $3,250 cash and carry
takes it.

You can look at my prior posts for specifics and even where you can find
some pictures.

It's in very good mechanical condition, has a V8 conversion. Paint is O.D.
and it has a Browning 30cal M/G on a custom made mount w/ammo can holder and
can. I have done lots of work and it comes w/many spare parts. It has hard
and bikini tops, troop seats and the metal corners for the canvas backside
cover (No canvas).

Downside: Gas gague not working. Brake lights not working but tail lights
fine. This is 12V unit. Door mounted spare (very cool looking). A few other
small things need fixing but they are items which will take more time than
$$$.

Again, please check the archives for the URL for pictures of the M37 but
they were taken before it was "finished" and it looks much better now.

I won't be able to answer e-mail for a week or more but if you have any
questions, my wife can ask me and I (hopefully) will be able to give her
answers to give you.

I am located in So. Calif. San Fernando Valley which is 30 miles N/W of Los
Angeles.

The price I am asking is what a "dealer" here will give me and I would
rather someone here have it but I do need to let it go.

Thanks.

David
