I"ve been racking my brains trying to come up with something
that will help in this crisis, and at the same time bring out the
qualities of our group so that it puts our hobby in a favorable
light.
Ok, here it is. Get in touch with the local Red Cross or whoever is
doing the blood drive. Arrange to have your MV present in the location
where they are taking the blood. Offer tours, rides, etc. to the young
folks donating blood.
" Hey guys, I'm going over to fourth and main to look at that cool tank"
goes over a lot smoother than " I'm going down to the Red Cross to give
blood"
