CSM Dan Sebby of the CA State Military Reserves just emailed me with a
little history of
the 7th.
They were a black outfit, based in LA. That's why I found a Buffalo
inside the DUI (Buffalo
Soldiers).
You gotta admit I've come a long way in three years!
One other note: I've been badgering poor state employees for years
because there are
"Great Seals of Calfornia" on my truck.
Well...
The California State Guard has that in their regimental flags! DUH!
Oh, and time-wise it fits.
