Subject: [MV] What type of truck is it?

I was at a local salvage yard yesterday after a friend said the guy had
a M series truck that was pretty intact. When I got there I discovered
that is a gas burning 5 ton with an extended bed, (in fact looks almost
twice as long as my deuce. it is all there less the canvas cab top, the
starter(has the pedal type starterto the right of the gas pedal) and the
front bumper rings, bridge plates, and wiper blades(I bought the later
three) It would be a great project for someone and wouldn't take alot of
work to make it run and drive. The tires have a little tread left, but
are supporting the weight with no problems. I do not know what the M
model number is on it, as it did not specify on the data plate. He also
has a 5 ton tractor that is missing it's tranny(and is painted white)
and a CCKW that has the frame cut just behind the back duals and a non
standard front bumper. I have the business card of the owner if anyone
is interested. He is real reasonable on his prices also. It is located
near Leon, Kansas whis is a short drive from Wichita.
