Jon,

Jim Gilmore comes up to our OMVA meets once or twice a year, and he's
helped me out on T-16 research. His invitation, as I recall, was in
response to my bemoaning the fact that I had never (and will never, in
THIS country, anyway) shot a Vickers before. The M2HB is pure gravy...
:-)

Bob Belser is a trusted friend, both online and personally... we've met
before at Knox, through Tankers' Forum (now Tanknet). Hell of a nice
man. Say hi for me if he shows up this year!

BTW, some of the MOST fun I've had with FAs is once shooting a Lewis gun
(Arbitrary MV Content - they used to be on miscellaneous desert-adapted
vehicles in the LRDG)... watching that drum rotate endlessly was highly
entertaining, and the growing pile of empty cases right outside the
ejection port reminded me of Charlie Sheen in Hot Shots Part Deux (mind
you, Valeria Golino was pretty interesting too :-).

Ah, well....

Have fun, you guys, I'm jealous!
