"Battlefields of WW2" with the enigmatic Proffessor Richard Holmes.
He was this week in the Cassino episode taking viewers back to the Anzio
beaches in a fully kitted out wartime Jeep - strangley there was a rev
counter attatched to the steering column and the camera close up showed him
pull up to stop and cut the distinctively diesel engine by pulling an
engine stop cable.
Surely a gaff that ought to have been avoided?
However, if this comes to you on local channels dont miss this series.
