Still haven't seen the mysterious picture, however "the facts" are
getting better and better.
To recap: Librarian Bill Davies of the California Military Museum
unearthed a very interesting picture inside an old magazine while
searching for materials.
The materials (and the magazine) went to the
BG who's in charge of the military history program for California. For
whatever reason, the *&%^# General won't give them back!
Mr. Davies did give me some info what he remembers: a 1940 or 1941
issue of CALIFORNIA GUARDSMAN MAGAZINE.
(VERY nice, right years AND National Guard!)
Now he remembers part of the caption "115th
Quartermaster Regt..."
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Guys, if this ISN'T a picture of MY truck, then it must be its BROTHER!
