Unfortunately, this apparently happens a lot within the airline industry.
I saw some investigative report awhile back that exposed USED parts
being sold as NEW. Some had repaired fractures on them! Worse in some
countries than others, but quite a bit of it was happening within US air
fleets. Nice, huh?
