The question is, how much is "enough". A 3kw will give a maximum of 25 amps,
or in power terms enough to light 30 each 100 watt light bulbs. It's also
enough to light 4-5 light bulbs, a small TV, and maybe a small electric
coffee pot - or microwave. If you're planning on carrying a TV, electric
coffee pot, or microwave - it ain't camping. But then on the otherhand a TV
with a satalite dish could fill in those long nights.
