I don't wear any jewelry for that very reason, and if I have to wear a tie
it is a clip on.

I would like to add another warning and that is to remove any watches, ring,
or chains that you are wearing around any live circuits A.C. or D.C.. My
brother about two weeks ago (with over 30 years as a professional mechanic)
let his watch band come into contact with a hot wire from the alternator and
it did major damage to his wrist and may have done permanent damage to the
wrist and hand. Just because You(and me) have been lucky so far doesn't mean
it can't happen. Wayne
