Thanks for the info. I am sure Memphis sent me the "right" part.
The bends in the hose are just not the same as the one that was on there,
and I know
that is correct since it is GI.
BTW, if you take the Dayco part number off the hose that Memphis sells and
go down to your local
NAPA they can get the same hose for a few bucks cheaper.
Seems like the correct hose is not being made so someone decided that this
civilian hose was "close enough".
Thats fine but if thats the case the dealers should say that ahead of
time...IMHO

I've always purchased the lower hose from Memphis
and they all fit perfect. I don't understand why you're
having a problem. Are you ordering using their part
number from their catalog? I get them out of the
Chambersburg, PA, branch.
Sometimes they send the wrong part. I ordered a
primary fuel filter for a 5-ton and got the one for an
M25A2. Price was too high, also.
