Having never done this, this is what I would call an educated guess. First,
keep in mind the engine has a 22:1 compression ratio, have a good gauge, as
the minimum acceptable compression pressure is 520 lbs. Second, I would
suspect that you don't have the military gauge, so you would need to get
ahold of a bad injector, gut it, and screw compression gauge into it. Then
test as normal, with engine at least 50 degrees, and fully charged batteries.
 Cranking speed should be 240-260 rpm, with all nozzles removed. On a used
engine the compression should not vary more than 75 lbs between all the
cylinders, on new or rebuilt, this number is 25 lbs.
Why do you want to do all this? Why you suspect compression problem?
