I received the following message from a friend of mine who is not a List
member. Somehow, I don't know how, he found a guy in Arizona with three
engines for M4 Shermans for sale. I have attached his email to me. I don't
know anything more about the engines, or the owner...just passing this along
in the hope that somebody can make use of the information. I understand that
somebody from the Confederate Air Force has looked at the radial and
confirmed that it is, indeed, a tank engine. If you want more information,
you will have to contact the owner who's name and phone number appear at the
bottom of the message.

Hi John,
He has three M4 engines. One R975 Continental radial
and two Ford GAA's. They look like take outs from a
long time ago and would have to be gone through. They
are mostly complete with mags, carbs and starters. I
think the radial was missing the starter. He got them
in a group of engines and is not into MV's. He has
many photos he will send if emailed. He wanted around
$3500.00 for all three. They are located in Phoenix,
Arizona.
The last time I talked with Bruce was 12/23 and he was
still looking for a buyer then.
