A friend of mine (not on list) has a M3A1 White Scout car, powered by a
Hercules JXD engine. Restoration was completed several years ago, it has
performed flawlessly since. Recently, it has developed a leak on the water
pump. It leaks only when stationary, not when driving. There appears to be
a packing nut to tighten the packing, but which way do you turn it?
Also, the electric horns don't sound, even when hooked direct to the battery.
They are NOS...any idea as to what to look for, adjust, etc?
