Difference between M101 and M101A1 Trailers??

Hi all,

I have a 1953 M101 CDN trailer which is identical to the US made M101
trailer of the day. I tried to get a M101A1 because they wer newer, but
found a good deal on a M101 I couldn't pass up. My question is what
improvements/changes were made for the M101A1 trailer? Or in other
words, what did I miss out on by getting a M101 and not a M101A1?
