Subject: [MV] Conversation with Global Liquidators

I talked with a person at GL that had all the personality of a frozen fish
and this is why I am begining to hate Global Liquidators:

(It's fairly close to a word for word)

GL: Global Liquidators, may I help you?
Me: Yes, I was just calling about the Feb. 7th auction and I wanted to talk
to someone about the trucks for sale.
GL: Yes, can I help you? (Same person)
Me: I was wondering if any of the vehicles are running?
GL: I couldn't tell you that.
Me: Who could tell if they are running or not?
GL: Nobody right now, everyone else is out of the office.
Me: So what can you tell me?
GL: I really don't have any information on the trucks.
Me: Why not?
GL: Because I don't get out there and we have quite a few trucks here to
deal with.
ME: Uh......you have..... uh, two - trucks?
GL: Well, we have other trucks in other areas too.
Me: Ok. but somebody put a minimum bid of $1000 on those two trucks you do
have on your lot, so that implies to me that somebody must know something
about them and you are saying there is nobody that has any information?
GL: Yes.
Me: Just seems like if you put a $1000 minimum on a truck there ought to be
information available to justify that, right?
GL: Would you like to leave a message and I will have somebody call you
back?
Me: No, not really. Sorry, but that doesn't work, I have left 3 messages
and nobody ever calls me back and even left an email.
GL: Who did you leave a message with when you called?
Me: I aksed for Bob and I left the message with you. (pause in
conversation - they are getting mad)
Me: Look I am not trying to be a problem I'm just looking for some answers
that should be real simple for people selling trucks at an auction. I've
asked for 3 weeks if you have any running trucks and for 3 weeks I get the
same answer, you don't know.
GL: Do you want my managers number?
Me: No, like I said I don't want to cause you any trouble, but I hope you
understand that as a buyer of trucks I need to find out something about them
or I won't be a buyer. You know what I am saying here?
GL: I understand.
Me: Well, can you tell me when will you post the pictures for the sale?
Gl: They should be downloading today.
Me: Well thats something I guess. Thanks very much.

End

ARRRRRGggggg!!!!! Unbelievable how these people can draw a salary!!!
