Have a friend here locally with a 10 year old restoration project for sale.
Years ago he was looking for an uncut, no ROPPS jeep.....he found a real
nice one with a title in AZ. Thenm picked up a spare drivetrain in NJ with
less than 1k miles on it.
Took to body off and mounted it to a GI rotisserie and detailed the bodu
uipside and downside. Had all sheetmetal done and painted...with CAMO sceme.
Installed the rear drive, harness and taillights. Thats where it is right
now. Aside from ythat he has the biggest collection of spares around....2
sets of NOS seats, canvas and vinyl, windsheild assm, front drive, harness,
inst cluster, tops, cylinders, lines master cyl, it goes on and on. Needs
someone that wants a flawless A2 with all the goodies, but needs to be
finished. He told me friday he is thinking about a price...Oh also he has a
rstored matching trailer with it with all canvas NOS talilights Harness etc.
Any interest.....? He figures about a week of solid work he does not have.
Body is still on the rotisserie.
Any Ideas?
