What the heck is a Kaiser M717?

Does anyone know what an M-717 Kaiser truck is? It's supposed to be 1.5 ton truck made in he mid 60's that looks like a pick up truck with a soft top.

Is this a 4X4 or did they come in 4X2? Would this be the same as a Dodge weapons carrier? Just curious, would like to see a pic of one if available. Thanks in advance, Jack
