Jock,
You need the AM-598/U unit. It is comprised of an audio amp, an RF amp, power supply, and mounting rack. I'd try Fair Radio for one. I believe the setup would then use an AB15 antenna mount and whip. I have no reference for these on an M422, but I'm sure someone here can tell you.
