There are a couple like this. Why are these trucks being sold without
titles?
They look operable, not like residue.
David, can you tell us why?

don't know about the state these are in, but in Pennsylvania it is
illegal to sell a motor vehicle with out a title.
it is considered to be a STOLEN VEHICLE by the police!
the law is pretty clear on the subject "if it has a VIN number, it HAS
to have a title".
it can be a salvage title, a reconstructed title or a regular title, but
it HAS to have a title.
a buyer can't issue a "CERTIFICATE OF INOPERABILITY". a buyer is not an
entity with the power or authority to do this.
i think gov. liq. needs to contact one of the following:

BROADWAY TITLE CO.
PO BOX 130303
BIRMINGHAM AL 35213
800-464-3222
or

TITLES UNLIMITED
PO BOX 170249
BIRMINGHAM, AL 35217
1-800-325-8136

or

since they (gov. liq.) have an office in alabama (huntsville) they
should be able to do title work there (in Alabama, taking advantage of
the local title laws) all by them selves and end this whole
problem!!!!!!!!!!
