Neat. Be aware (beware?) that the rear is a bit lighter now that that
fiberglass bunker top has been removed. Weight balance is now shifted. My
'78 Jimmy, in full-time 4 wheel drive, seemed to exhibit neutral steering,
neither under nor over-steering. Once I came to appreciate this situation
I never installed the 'xfer case 2wd' mod kit that I'd gone out and
instinctively purchased. Anyone want this kit, just let me know.
Now, I still may yank that heavy roof for summer fun once I get the TBI
kit installed on the 305. And get a shed to park it under. Would look nice
in desert camo . . . Bill
