CDL's and MV's & motorhomes

Didn't someone on the list make a motor home out of a M109? Are you still on the list. I would like to know more about what you did and if you have had any more trouble.

I understand that motor homes are exempt from CDL's and can tow anything they want to.

Race car drivers have gone to truck tractors like Kenworths and converted them into motor homes to pull huge van trailers with three race cars and a mobil shop in them. If I had the money I would go with that setup.

A friend of mine here said all of the local race car people had been kicked off the natchez trace (a 300 mile long fed park that prohibits commercial veh) because they get money if they win a race. You can pull the biggest horse trailer made on it but will get a ticket for a one cow trailer.
