well...
approx 70F today here in Milan, Italy..
a sky perfectly clear, and all the alps below horizon..
gone for a hard search: the '44 GPW std body I'm restoring still keeps the
M31 mount holes, so I've realized that I should have a .30 browning on it
as well!
...I had a demil M1919A4 last year in Beltring (it was funny to go
registering in Gatwick airport with his transit case as luggage...).
as you guess...no original mounts here around..
but I found today instead a NOS (still in cosmoline) D7431 .30 water cooled
browning mount !!
obviously, I took it...
I prefer to keep searching for M31mount/D38579pintle...but this NOS mount
is really fantastic..
if someone wants a pic, I can do that and send it off list.
by the way...what about his value ?
