Deuce Engines Again

Sorry about the last post. It got sent before I was done with it.

LDT-465-1C in 1970-1971 is producing 210hp at 2800RPM !

That seems higher than normal for what I have been reading. It seems also
that this engine was replaced by LDT-465-1D which only produced like 165hp
at 2600RPM. Could somebody please answer what the difference is between
these two engines? Why would they change the same engine to lower power?
