Insulation

List,
I have a strong recommendation against re-installing the rubber floor mat in
your M1009s. I say "re-install"
because the truck most likely had one when it was new. These mats are
commonly removed...and for good reason. They retain water in the cab which
causes the floor to rust through. Unless your truck is not going to get
wet...ever...and most CUCVs leak a bit...I would recommend that you avoid
installing the rubber floor mat. I had an M1009 with a rubber floor mat in
it when I purchased it. When I removed it, I found four holes in the cab
floor, the largest of which you could drop a tennis ball through.
