Yes, it does, however US Air Force registration numbers all begin with the
year of the vehicle. I don't remember if it is the year contracted for or
year built, but in any event in this case the 33 does not jive with the
mid-50's. Perhaps a 53???
The letter is significant, but again don't remember all of them (as I recall
"K" denotes a tactical vehicle, "L" a fire truck, but I certainly wouldn't
restore a vehicle by my memory).
In your particular case, you are in luck because Tucker still builds
Sno-Cats. Contact them at www/sno-cat.com and see if they can provide you any
info from the mfr serial number.
